I was born in Mexico City and at the age of four I moved to the United States with my family. I have two younger brothers, Brayant and Ian, they mean the world to me. My parents are my inspiration and all of them helped me become who I am now. I decided to join this class because I feel I have lost a lot of my connection to my Mexican culture and the only way I know how to connect back to it is by dancing Salsa/Cumbia/Bachata. Within this class I'm hoping that I will get a little bit more history on my native land. I will also learn how to identify and express myself through art.
